Welcome to Mr. Neil Kennerk’s room!
As an educator, I have been teaching in elementary schools for 16 years. I believe in meeting students where they are as learners, and in understanding the unique learning style of each student in order to set them up for success. I want my students to be enthusiastic learners – enthusiasm is the flame for self-direction, and that is the light of life-long learning.
I am a farmer, an artist, a backpacker, a joke-teller (good and bad), and a philosopher. I am a father/stepfather of 4 children with my wife Jennifer. Arwen-15; Harper-13; Violet 10; Moses-6. We are all so happy to return to Life on the peninsula. There is no other place like it! Look for us in town, on the beaches or trails, and in the overall spirit of the community.
